My Beauty Essentials

I’m so excited to share with y’all my holy grails of beauty! I plan on utilizing all these products in upcoming tutorials, so if there’s something specific you’d like to see first, leave it in the comments below!

As far as hair products go, these are my 6 go-tos! I have medium length thin hair and cannot live a week without these items!

#1: If you are looking for the perfect dry shampoo, look no further! This is the best, and I truly believe that no other dry shampoo can top this one. It doesn’t leave a white cast or any weird residue in your hair and smells SO good! You can buy it from Walmart here for $19! I promise, it’s worth every penny. If you don’t like it- I’ll buy it from you, seriously.

#2: My hair is super fine and I live in Texas so I LOVE big voluminous curls, but sometimes it just doesn’t happen. But with this stuff it ALWAYS happens! I like to spray this right at my roots after curling my hair to get that perfect Texas volume.

#3: This is another great dry shampoo for a cheaper price!

#4: My FAVORITE hairspray of all time! This one holds the curl without weighing down your hair or making it feel stiff!

#5: I swear my hair has done a 360 since I started using this shampoo and conditioner! It smells good and makes my hair SO shiny, so no complaints here! You can buy this duo off Amazon for a discounted price here!

#6: Since I’m blonde, I do bleach my hair once every 6 months or so, and sometimes I notice that my ends get a little dry. I love to curl my hair, and that doesn’t exactly keep my ends looking camera ready all the time! However, this oil keeps my hair hydrated and healthy! I’ve had my bottle for over a year and still have a TON left. A little goes a long way- I typically only apply 2 pumps to the ends of my hair when dry!

Hair Products

Growing up, I had awful acne and it wasn’t until I was put on Accutane that it finally got better! After I completed Accutane, I researched tons of different skin care products, and I finally nailed these down into a daily routine!

#1: This. Stuff. Is. Amazing. I swear, I have suggested Tatcha skin care to SO many of my friends and family members. This cleanser has exfoliants in it that really give you that “clean” feeling after washing your face. It’s also anti-aging, so for all my miss    20-somethings, this is a great product for you!

#2: YOU HAVE TO GET THIS. If not the cleanser, definitely this. This moisturizer is life-changing especially if you’re more on the oily side. I love this stuff and it is also part of Tatcha’s anti-aging line which makes me feel like I’m killing two birds with one stone!

#3: My co-workers introduced this to me in January and I don’t even remember life without it! It smells amazing and I use it right after the Tatcha cleanser as a toner to wipe away any kind of dirt or makeup that I didn’t get around to.

#4: This is a basic cleanser I have used since the beginning of time. After I remove my makeup with a makeup wipe, I cleanse my face with this before using any of my Tatcha skin care. (A makeup wipe will NEVER be able to remove all your makeup, and if you have pricey skin care items, I suggest using something like this before using any of your good stuff to make sure your skin is getting the most out of it!)

#5: This isn’t something I use in my face routine, but I love this lotion! It smells AMAZING and I use it all over whenever my skin is feeling dry!

#6: This perfume is also not something used in my face routine, but I thought I’d include it because it is my favorite scent! I love perfumes, but this one is by far my favorite.Skin Care

Ever since I was little I’ve loved playing with makeup. Although my makeup collection is large, these are the 9 staple items I always turn back to in my everyday looks.

#1: I have tried many foundations, but this is my all time classic. There are so many shade options and lays beautifully on the skin without looking cakey or flat!

#2: This foundation comes in a close second to my favorite Make Up Forever foundation. It’s light weight and is my perfect summer go-to foundation!

#3: I love this setting powder! It is completely translucent so I never have to change my shade depending on how tan I am. Definitely recommend trying this one!

#4: Best blush ever! I used this on so many different skin tones when I was working with clients in years past. It was my staple makeup kit blush and it never fails!

#5: If you want to glow, and I mean like a glazed-donut-kind-of-glow, this will be your best friend. Tip: try applying it with a damp beauty blender! It does wonders!

#6: Best bronzer with an AMAZING brush!! (I actually use that brush with some of my other bronzers haha!)

#7: Texas heat + my oily skin = no joke. This setting spray keeps me from melting! Love love love!

#8: Typically I’m not a lip gloss girl, but this Marc Jacobs lip gloss in the color “Sugar Sugar” is amazing. It looks good over any neutral pink shade or even on its own!

#9: I loved watching Jaclyn Hill before I knew how to do makeup, and when she came out with this palette, I was SHOOK. Every shade is amazing and so pigmented! They also blend super easily so it makes any eye shadow look a total success!
