Everyone, meet Milo!
For those of you that know me, you know how big of an animal lover I am! I grew up with 2 dogs, 2 cats and 2 horses… so quite the bunch!
When moving away for college, my heart broke leaving my animals. I’ve always felt loved and safe with animals around me, and it was only natural that I got puppy fever after moving into my first apartment.
After I finally felt settled into my apartment, I was ready to introduce a new companion into my space and make my home really feel like home.
Since I was a kid, my family only ever had small sized dogs. I love small dogs, but I also LOVE Golden Retrievers. Something about them just always made me smile. I loved the idea of a Golden Retriever, but didn’t love the idea of a dog being bigger than me!
So, I looked around and found a breeder who specialized in “Miniature Golden Retrievers.” I became intrigued, and after talking for a very long time with the breeder, I put a deposit down on a baby boy for the next litter.
Milo was born July 6, 2018 and is 25% Cocker Spaniel and 75% Golden Retriever. He’s expected to get up to 40 lbs and have a very calm temperament. He’s very smart and already knows how to sit, come when his name is called, and go to his kennel at bedtime.
I am so happy to have him in my life and in my space with me. It’s crazy to think that this dog will be with me through some of the next big milestones of my life, and I cannot wait to share all those special moments with him!
